Life and Wellbeing The Resilient Brain

Your brain has the capacity to heal. But you need to know what actually works — not shame, not willpower alone, not just medication. The Resilient Brain is an 8-episode formation class grounded in both neuroscience and Scripture, built for anyone navigating depression or helping someone who is. Over 35 years of psychiatric practice, Dr Timothy Jennings has walked alongside people through the complexity of depression, and this class is built from what he has seen actually transform lives. In this class, you will practise identifying the brain circuits and lifestyle factors that drive resilience or depression, and apply evidence-based interventions across sleep, movement, thought patterns, nutrition, spirituality, and connection.

The premise

Depression is not a moral failure. It is a measurable disruption of your brain's circuits, immune system, and cellular function, and it is reversible. When you understand what is actually happening in your brain, you can make choices that reconnect those circuits. This class names the science, grounds it in Scripture, and shows you the path.
